Thanksgiving LIVES!

Well folks it was a busy busy day on thanksgiving at the bakeshop. To say it was pandemonium might be an understatement but we'll let pandemonium take it. Sold out of every pie you could name and stores where calling us saying "dude can you spare some pies?" Not a single pie remained except those diabetic friendly pies that are called sugar free. Have no idea if they taste good or not but people seemed reluctant to take the chance. There were several stories that happened some good some bad and some just not Worth mentioning so keep reading.

This is a crime scene photo. A small little kid fell into the wooden display. You can see the drops of blood from his split open forehead. Also his greasy hand print from where he tried but failed to stop his fall, complete with dropped half eaten donut. The poor kid was gushing blood so when I heard his screams I ran got paper towels, band aids, and a bag of ice per his fathers request. I was moving like wind and couldn't be stopped from helping until......one of those horrible people who just sucks at life jumped in. His mom, aunt, grandma, or whoever she was to him asks not for assistance or to get help but starts lecturing me on how she can sue! Unbelievable that she says this to me the guy helping I told her she was horrible and the worst kinda person, took pictures of the crime scene and went about my day. It's a longer story but didn't wanna dwell on grumpy jerks. So heres some cakes!

Some adorable and fun cake.

Making more magic with some princess scenery.

Babies make people smile and these twins are bringing sunshine with them!

If you don't know who the nature boy Ric Flair is then you are being demoted from awesome to just cool.

Well not pictured is the two cakes I whipped up in under five minutes each to make some customers special requests happen. I can't say no when requested to make a cake even if there is no time. Just hope everyone had a dope Thanksgiving. Since I was so far from home I spent the holiday in a hilarious and cliched fashion. I went and got drunk at the local bar and shot the shit with all the other single people with nowhere to go! It was fun and a nice change of pace but still missed all my family and friends back in Minnesnowda. Happy belated Thanksgiving!

New Orleans Who loves You!

A young lady came in today with a fun and unique idea. She wanted a flordelis with a wave in it. She told me a story about how she loved New Orleans and was down there for quite a while to help clean up. What did she clean up you ask? the hurricane? no; The oil spill? no. She wasn't gonna settle for a little feel good help! She went for broke and was cleaning up hurricane and oil left overs. I was surprised to see we still haven't fully cleaned from the hurricane? F.E.M.A and the government apparently haven't checked there messages in quite awhile. STILL NEED HELP DOWN HERE!!! (Not sure they heard) Definitely some selfless and giving nature stuffed inside that shell. Had a blast with her and her friend. We tried to get her friend laughing and smiling because her car was egged earlier in the day. Not only did you prove yourself childish mr/mrs egger but you also wasted some food. With everyone worried about a recession seems in poor taste. We wouldn't let that stop the party on this cold day so we kept on laughing and enjoying. Wave and flordelis equals big smiles! (even though it was on some ribs)

In the Holiday Spirit

In the spirit of the up coming holiday I made some turkeys. I have a lot of unique friends many of whom are vegan and many of whom are vegetarian. These are 100% vegetarian turkeys complete with frosting apples and carrots. Sorry vegans but your just TO unique, I figured it's the thought that counts. Enjoy these tasty treats and remember these didn't start life out as some fat sad looking bird in the forest, they started life out as a delicious cake.
Turkey cake!!!!

I went past 11 all the way to 12! (shout out to the people who know what I'm talking about)

A little Elegance mixed with Tribal

Here is a tattoo I threw together on the spot with my magic red pencil. Came out fantastic and she sat great so that makes it that much easier on me. She wanted tribal and we compromised with tribal but with a touch of class to help compliment the flowers she got. black and grey smoothness is evident. She wanted to keep the flower minimally shaded and I love how they turned out! A long way to go till black and grey excellence is achieved; but I'm most confident it will be a fun ride! Keep checking back for more flavor and more sugary sweet treats!

Cancellations and Cakes

Well I had a full day or so I thought, I worked my cake making fingers to the bone with the help of Monique and Alex. I rocked out 7 cakes and then some, We were firing on all cylinders today. Then with an excited mind I raced to work to do a second buddha tattoo in a week. Guess what? he didn't show but luckily got other magic in the works like I mentioned a few posts ago. I'll get him in the chair and we'll wow all you folks out there in the internet world. For now you'll have to settle for more cakes and probably some more cakes after that!

Rib Business

Thought it was gonna be a hard job but was one of the funnest tattoos thus far. This young lady Amela and her friend came in, they were both high energy mo foes! They both were some hilarious trouble makers and had loads of stories. Before I knew it we were all telling stories and laughing at all the ridiculousness. It reminded me of the old days with loud, story telling Shawn. We ended by making plans for some other super secret gangster tattoos and some super mario action in the future.

It's a Double dose of Sugar

This is a summer favorite of mine to make that some awesome unknown customer ordered! Vegetarians welcome to partake of this delicious meatless burger. It's quite mouth watering I must say, I think I'm in love with making food shaped like other food. I also Love doing food tattoos...HINT HINT!

At the last Minute before I was supposed to leave these customers came in and ordered a rad Lightning Mcqueen cake. Was so excited to do it, I didn't even realize I had five minutes till my day was done. What else could I do? stay a little longer and added some Zazz to this already Zazz laden cake.

Here's some close up action of the sweet grassy burnout Lightning Mcqueen is doing.

Mater making some dust or moving dirt, just depends on how your imagination words. Mine works laterally as well as horizontally, also in space just in case you were wondering.
